DESCRIPTION: Gray Willows is a shining example of wetland restoration. V3’s Design/Build/Manage approach has raised the bar for successful ecological restoration, showcasing the value of using the same expert team throughout the lifespan of an ecological restoration project. Developing the highest possible level of site knowledge produces extraordinary results; not only did V3’s technique create a pristine, biodiverse wetland, but this approach also met the strict performance standards two years ahead of schedule. This feat of ecological engineering deserves recognition to raise awareness for this successful approach and to inspire current and future ecologists on what can be done to restore the land for generations to come.
