Description: Baxter & Woodman led the feasibility study, design, and construction services for the improvements Kishwaukee Water Reclamation District’s wastewater treatment plant. During the feasibility study, the team prepared a hydraulic evaluation and condition assessment of the existing facility. During the preliminary design, Baxter & Woodman performed a hydraulic evaluation of the existing pumps, created a hydraulic profile of the new plant and a model of the biological process, and prepared a roadmap to energy neutrality starting with a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engine generator. Baxter & Woodman led the design and construction engineering services for the implementation of the improvements.
